This book is not really what I expected. There are better books.

Good for New Nurse
I agree this probably wouldn't be the best text for an experienced nurse, however, it includes a lot of the basics which is great for a new nurse like me who is still learning proper documentation.

Just the Basics
If what you need is a detailed book with extensive writing on theory and practice with few practical examples, you may want to invest in a different text.However, if you what you need is book with examples of documentation on several areas, this is your text.Personnally, I just need to flip to the subject and follow the example.I am pleased with this simple, straight to the point text.

Not for the experienced nurse
This is a very good book for an academic setting or for a new RN.It was not however helpful to me, a nurse with more than two decades of experience. Stedman's is the best!
Absolutely agree with the earlier review posted below.This volume was published in 1999, and an updated volume should be coming along soon, but meanwhile, this exhaustive collection of words relating especially to ears, nose, throat, and teeth is without peer.If you're an MT looking into expanding your library because you've found yours wanting, Stedman's is the place to look, and this book is a crucial part of such a library.

Best reference for plastic surgery/ENT/dentistry words

Must-have for malpractice lawyers
This book is a must have for any attorney - plaintiff's or defendant's. I am a pharmacist and a lawyer and I have never read such a clear, informed presentation a very complicated topic in all my years of school or practice. Dr. Quinn distills the important components of a medical record down to the very essentials. This should be a required text book at all law schools as well as all medical and pharmacy schools.
