as a Chiropractic Orthopedist, I was looking for a clear, concise review of common , primarily out-patient disorders, and this text is. Dr. Brier has done a great job of identifying key facets of common problems of the skeleton for primary contact healthcare professionals, in an easy to read style. I have recently purchased copies for my Primary Care and Family Medicine colleagues. My intern found it a "fabulous read", which for him tied together many concepts from much more voluminous works. From the people who exposed the AMA
It sounds like something out of the x-files, but it actually is happening.Nobody is surprised though are we?Chet Wilk has put the comprehensive book on the AMA (ET AL's) attempts to destroy and discredit the chiropractic profession by spreading their bigotry and biased reports.The effects of the AMA's attempts are still felt today and they succeeded in causing every person who hears the word 'chiropractor' to have what we call baggage.What do you think of first when you hear the word???If it's negative and not openminded, you need to ask yourself how you came to that conclusion and who 'started' that kind of thinking.This book will make you feel duped and cheated by the AMA..the same way that the courts felt.

A must read for every chiropractor and patient!
This book explains the "war" between chiropractic and medicine.The criticism of chiropractic by the medical industry is politically and financially motivated, as proven in this book.I beleive that if MDs read this book, they will take a longer look at the possible benefits of chiropractic, and ignore what their AMA reps are telling them.

A new approach
I just heard this author speak at a teacher's conference. The material presented was excellent, and reflected the fresh and new approach of this book. I am so pleased that finally there is a book that treats the subject of body mechanics in a functional and practical way. This book is exactly what our profession has been waiting for. The Best
If you are a massage student, therapist, or teacher of massage therapy, you should buy this book. It's the best book written on body mechanics. It provides all the information needed to sustain a healthy massage career. The burn-out rate for massage therapists is too short; this book will help to eliminate it.

A Gem
I've been teaching massage for over 15 years, and in all that time I've never come across such a wonderful book on body mechanics. This book is a gem.
