Dr. Pearl's path and gift to us all
This is an easy read, his directness and passion has changed my life as I walk my soul path.He explains how we can tap into this energy to assist others and ourselves in healing mental, spiritual and physical aspects of being human. He also helpsus to understand how ego may hold us back. I was guided to actually attend an oreintation in Washington, DC and met Dr. Pearl. I have taken Reconnective Healing I, II and completed "The Reconnection-Level III"
Coming down to earth
When I began reading this book, I too was carried away by Eric Pearl's exuberance and passion. His book is heady stuff.Pearl is very funny, and he is even more persuasive, making some very astute observations of the human condition.The first part of the book - which is largely autobiographical - on the whole resonated well with me, and for this, I could have given 4 stars.
Amazing!!!
I've never been inspired to write an Amazon review before until I read this book-I've read a lot of books about healing, but not one has resonated with me like Eric Pearl's book. His easy to read and humorous style is exciting and engaging, and I could actually feel my vibration level rising while reading or even discussing the book. This is a life-changing book everyone can benefit from, and unlike many other books about healing 'techniques' Dr. Pearl isn't condescending, preachy or dogmatic. Reconnective Healing is something everyone can do without ritual or exclusive techniques and he makes a big point of that. I was so inspired by his book that I am flying halfway across the country to see him speak...I can't recommend this book enough! If enough people read this perhaps the consciousness of the world will shift in a posititive direction when we realize we're all connected and all empowered to heal. ... Read more

How to Heal the Sick
This book kept me at the edge of my seat from start to finish. There is so much to learn from this book. This book is very thought & prayer provoking. I can not encourage you enough to read this book because it is so inspiring.

1.Is this an in depth presentation?
Faith Building, Faith Inspiring, Faithfully True
Coming from a Fundamental Baptist background, I was extremely skeptical about this book and the ideas in it.I must admit though when I reasoned with my spirit and not my mind, I could truly understand the Biblical relevance of healing and miracles for today!After applying the principles taught in this book, my husband's legs have grown to be even, his spine was straightened, my arms are now the same length, my spine has straightened, and my husband has administered healing to others as well.Excellent, excellent book.Read more

Healing Ancient Wounds: The Renegade's Wisdom
This book was first loaned to me. I enjoyed it so much I purchased my own copy. It does a great job of explaining myofacial release and myofacial unwinding in layman's terms. I am recovering from a near fatal car crash and a physical therapist is using these techniques to help me recover physically and release the cellular trauma of the crash through unwinding. John Barnes is a dynamic person and the book held my interest through many anecdotal stories.

Why pay for an overlong advert?
The book is interesting as a portrayal of the guy and the great work he does but lets be honest it is just one long advertorial.I also have my questions over the artist's choice of female, a rather young nubile woman, to accompany the glorifying images of Mr Barnes.

Do I say WOW now or later? - or both?
When I was first introduced to Myofascial Release (as taught by John Barnes), I had to know more.I talked my therapist into loaning me this book and read it in less than 24 hours.I was fascinated.As I read it, I knew I had to have a copy of the book for myself, so I ordered it from Amazon.I have read the book a total of 3 times now and find something new in it every time I read it.I also find that I can pick it up and open it to any page and find words that I need to hear at that moment.Recently I had the privilege of receiving treatment from the amazing therapists and John Barnes himself in his Sedona, AZ Myofascial Release (MFR) Treatment Center.It was an awesome experience.Before receiving MFR treatments from my local therapist, I couldn't do my grocery shopping on my feet.I was shopping for a wheelchair when I discovered Myofascial Release and have since climbed up into three mountains.Needless to say, this has changed my life! ... Partial Differential Equations and Boundary Value Problems
I think this book is Possibly the best Mathematic book for Engineer I've ever read. This is due to the fact that the material is so much clear and the examples are so easy to follow. The book's explanation is precise and accurate. The exercises on every chapter are helpful. I practise almost most of the exercise problems. In fact, I score an "A" on the first Test. I will recommend it to everyone without hesitation.

Nakhle:Just a quick note to thank you for your book! It arrived Thursday, and I've been reading it and doing the exercises both on paper and in Mathematica 3.0. After a quick review of the whole book and a thorough reading of the first 70 pages so far, I can say I just love it! IfI'd only had a book like this in college and graduate school I'd havebecome a much better electrical engineer. Yours is one of the bestexpositions of both Fourier series and partial differential equations I'veused. Although I haven't gotten very far into the boundary value problemsand the orthogonal functions areas of the book yet, my initial reviewindicates they will be excellent also. I am enjoying your book immensely,and I thank you very much for it. I'll update this with a more thoroughreview when I have a chance to finish the book, but I wanted to share myinitial impressions so others might weigh them into their own decisions toget this excellent book.

A clear introduction to PDEs, Fourier series
This text not only provides a simple and easy-to- read-the-first-time guide to solving PDEs with Fourier series, it also is chock-full with all the necessary details and includes many interesting problems.I took acourse out of this book as a sophomore in college and found it veryinteresting and useful.The style and difficulty is very similar to atypical undergraduate ordinary differential equations book, except this isbetter organized.Read more

A must have for bio-medical approach
The author of this book is the grandmother of an autistic little girl and a doctor.
A Must Have Book!
If you have a child who is pdd, on the autistic spectrum, add or adhd, has Rett's etc. this book is a must have. It will guide you in the treatment of many neurological disorders. This is information that most m.d.'s don't have the time or inclination to learn. This book is based on years of intensive research in the area of neuroligical toxicity and how to treat it using natural and prescription medications. Many children are being healed of diseases that are thought to be incurable based on this research!

Worth the read!
If you're on this body assaulting drug, in need of cliche-comforting 'misery loves company', then this is the book to read. A quick, informative read, and one that leaves Prednisone users with hope for body normalcy once again.

Barely informative and depressing for a long-term user
This book should be titled: Eugenia Zukerman's Coping with Prednisone.

The Best Of The Bunch
I've been using energy tapping for several years.I went through two of Gary Craig's courses, then began buying books on the subject for further (and different) information.Gloria Arenson's book is simply the best.The reviews here cover most of what I was going to say, so I'll just add a paragraph.
The Last Self Help Book I'll NEED!
In my life I have had many ups and downs. From seeing my life flash before my eyes when i choked on a corn dog...to now being a needy man who has a passion for female self help books. Love the book!
This book is very useful for preventative measures. It makes you think about how your body talks and reveals the weaknesses years before problems appear. If one has the courage to follow its suggestions, then one has a chance not to become a statistic of cancer, heart disease or diabetes.

Valuable Aid for Cell Salt selection
This book would be extremely helpful for healthcare workers. The excellent color photographs illustrate clearly how one recognizes stressed areas of the face, ears and skin that indicate deficiencies of Cell Salts. Great and Helpful Book on a Serious Disease
This is an excellent book, very reader-friendly, and filled with anecdotes from real people who suffer with this common yet vastly underdiagnosed condition.It is informative, well-written, and will be helpful to any who suffer from RLS, or anyone who cares for people who have this sometimes debilitating disease.

A Classic Text on Healing from a Holisitic Perspective
Cowan took from the wisdom of Rudolf Steiner, Samual Hahneman [homeopathy], Weston Price DDS and Edgar Cayce. If you enjoy research, there are hundreds of books on these wise healers.But, if you're like me and want to expedite your research, then The Fourfold Path to Healing is for you.
Excellent Resource..
This book is an excellent companion book to Nourishing Traditions. It is full of good basic information and an easy to understand read. It is also a great book on it's own.

Ok.I have some comments to make before actually reviewing the book.
"Oxygen Healing Therapies" Made of Thin Air
Before the reader even gets to the largely bogus contents of this bizarre tome, the front cover misleads the incautious purchaser with an announcement in the very center of the page of a foreword by Charles H. Farr, M.D., Ph.D. who supposedly was "Nominated for the Nobel Prize in Medicine, 1993"
Quite Interesting
An interseting book, but I much prefer the work of Ed McCabe, the real master of Oxygen Therapies. His latest book Flood Your Body with Oxygen which I could not put down, gets to grip with the subject in a fascinating way and style that Altman does not have. Overall it is a fair book. ...
