All you need to be your child's best health advocate!
With my ever-growing addiction to natural parenting tomes, I already have quite a collection of child care reference books.But something about this book beckoned me to take another look, and I'm so very glad I did. Best Child healthcare book -- remedies really work!
The advice in this book is comprehensive and really excellent!I was able to reverse my 4 year old daughters ear infections to the amazement of her ENT.After a prognosis of "andenoid removal and tube insertion " required, after just 4 weeks the diagnosis is " no surgery necessary" !A phone consultation with the doctor helped me to better decide which remedies, and the dosages, that were required.Read more

Keep this on your book shelf!
When one of my books on medicine and herbal remedies doesn't have the answer I'm looking for, I turn to another. Dr. Giller's great, informational book is just one of the many I turn to, and I find it aninvaluable resource for my health. He favors vitamin supplements to herbs,although he does prescribe herbs in many cases. Did you know a zinc lozengecan help cure a cold aore and prevent future ones? That Acidophilis canprevent most fungal infections, like dandruff, vaginitis and cold sores?Giller also has a plan that has helped arthritis sufferers have greatermobility and relief from pain without taking aspirin or stronger drugs. Amust-read!

This is a great book, mine is quite dog-eared.
I got this book years ago and it was probably one of the first natural remedy-type books I purchased during a time when I was having many sinus, allergy and overall immunity problems due to too many antibiotics. I wantednatural remedies and direction in healthy healing and prevention. I had noidea what to expect and did not know where to start but I was notdissapointed and still refer to this book regularly to this day, eventhough I have many other books like this and herbal ones too.This book isgreat for beginners and those who find strictly herbal remedies andprevention a bit overwhelming or confusing at first.Everyone knows aboutand is familiar with vitamins and this book really lays out which ones helpwhat ailments, along with some herbal and other natural remedies to get youstarted. Worked for me
This is an excellent book, and it worked for me. I went from being near sighted and needing glasses to 20/20 vision (to the amazement of my eye doctor). I have also been bothered with light sensistive eyes since my childhood, and my eyes are now comfortable even in brilliant sunshine.

I have used Dr. Ingrams products for 2 years now and I still have my liver, unlike "DRUGS" that have been know to cause death in some cases and other complications. Just look at your television and watch the "drug" commercials and listen to the side effects.

BOOK'S EXCELLENT; Don't waste time on Graziano's comment
The book is worth reading if you are concerned about curing many difficult viral, bacterial or fungal infections, some of which conventional medicine can't do anything about. Dr. Ingram's Oreganol has been so effective for my friends and me that I'd recommend just trying it out to see if it works.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
If you purchase any of Dr. Cass Ingram's books, you are setting yourself up to verbal manipulation. I personally have met Dr. Ingram and found him to be pompus, arrogant and rude. He claims oregano cures everything yet he has deep dark circles under his eyes and is always grabbing his neck. He makes medical claims, yet has little research to back anything up and his books are repetitious and constantly plugg the North American Herb & Spice product line. Gee, I wonder if he has any interest in the company? I heard Dr. Ingram say that he was going to try and finish a book within a month. People spend hard-earned money on his books and claims to spend one month to write a book. Probably not much substance there.

This book is a MUST for anyone interested in their health and what to do in the case of a rampant killer flu, which is immiment and planned.Dr. Ingram is truly a genius with a caring and merciful heart for people and their well-being.He lays down the protocol regarding many different scenarios,and also goes into the history of disease and how the American system, aka: allopathic drs, has POORLY dealt with disasters in the past, and not much has changed, especially since we have virtually NO broadspectrum antibiotics, and the last place you want to go when a pandemic breaks out is the hospital. He tells you the difference between treating grownups as opposed to treating small children, and how to stay healthy so that your immume system can fight for you, as it should be. I'm a nurse with 20 yrs experience, and hospitals are totally unprepared for any biological or major epidemic outbreak.The real fact being, they're not even preparing for it, though they also know it's coming.Most hospitals have only 1 or 2 isolation rooms, and they're doing nothing to change that. It really works!

EXCELLENT RESOURCE
With so many possible side effects possible from traditional drugs and remedies, I believe the best answers come from nature itself. I found this book to be very helpful and I will use it as a resource for years to come. Why treat the symptom when God gave us natural answers to treat the root of the problem.

Finally an herbal remedy book without the New Age hype!
I saw Dr. Maccaro on a talk show on the TV and found here to be very personable.Her book is a great resource for information and redmedies.I have been looking for an natural healing book but so many of them have so much New Age spirituality I could not bring myself to buy them.This book will give you down to earth remedies and uplifiting Christian veiwpoints.I found it very refreshing and informative.

Good approach to the all-encompassing mind, body and and spirit of women, but needs to go further to be a prope textbook.Consider Gangi's view of holistic health and incorporate it with this one.

A superb guidebook.Expensive BUT it works
I am 40 andsuffer from ankylosing sponditis (a form of rheumatoid arthritis) and before I found Dr Murray my back pain was intolerable to the degree I seriously wondered if I would ever have a pain free life again. Dark thoughts entered my head and I grew despondent. Exceeded expectations!
This book is great! It explains complex terminology in simple terms, and it advises natural, unprocessed, whole foods eating. I am a holistic health counselor, so I was very happy to read that the author recommends organic, local, and whole foods. This book would be great for anyone who would like to stop getting sick, have more energy, and learn more about nutrition.

Just after reading the first couple of chapters, I started eating healthier! This book has a great wealth of information on how to choose, cook, and eat healthier foods. A Book for Body, Mind and Spirit
Aviva Jill Romm's book is destined to have widespread appeal for its compassionate and wise advice. I am grateful to Aviva for having so much vital information in one volume. The topics are Herbs, Nutrition, Yoga, and Practical Wisdom and sagely begins with Chapter One -- The Birth of a Mother. Her chapter on Replenishing Yourself -- Body, Mind and Spirit is particularly wonderful and the photos of the mother and newborns are full of soul. Both Robin Lim's (After The Baby's Birth) and Aviva's books make the best baby shower / Blessing Way gifts! For too many years postpartum has been neglected in terms of self-help guidebooks and within a moon of one another in 2002 came two excellent contributions to what I hope to see is the growing body of knowledge for new mothers.
