It's OK, but...
The first thing I noticed when I opened the Amazon package was that the book looked as if it had been photocopied and bound at Kinko's, which is unusual given the price of it... This makes some of the radiographic figures hard to make out. Next thing you notice is that it's self-published (apparently after a publishing house discontinued it, the copyrights reverted to author).Given that, the content is not bad except for some lengthy discussions using such pretentious author-coined terms such as "tensegrity", and "assymlocation" (perhaps in a desperate attempt for posterity?).If you have to get one book on prolotherapy, you should get the one written by Hackett.It's more concise and written mainly by George S. Hackett (Hackett, George S., and Hemwall, Gustav A. and Montgomery, Gerald A., Ligament and Tendon Relaxation Treated By Prolotherapy, 5th Edition, 2nd printing, Oak Park, Illinois, 1993.), who discovered Prolotherapy, and who's treatment protocols remain the Gold standard for optimal results in the shortest amount of time. The title of the book is misleading. This is a book which may be useful to chiropractors but contains little information of actual medicine related to injection tecniques.It is more of a manipulative technique manual. Scarce not only of illustrations but also information.The radiology pictures are smudged and poorly printed. There are much better books in the market on the topic.

Unique and indispensable for physicians in many specialties
"Oh, not another back!" is a frequent lament by physicians, whether a generalist or specialist. In medical school, physicians learn very little about conditions that might be classified as "mechanicaldiseases," except for fractures, dislocations, and other conditionstreatable by immobilization or surgery. Most diagnosis is perfunctory andimprecise (such as "low back strain" or "sprainedwrist"), and the treatment armamentarium is limited to non-steroidalanti-inflammatories, exercises that are unhelpful if not actually harmful,"muscle relaxants," or other anodyne intended to get the patientout of the office, preferably with a referral slip.Read more
