Full of Must Know Clinical Vignettes
This is a great book.It has a unique question and answer format that keeps you reading as opposed to traditional textbooks that are quite dry.This format also makes it easy to pick up and learn "high-yield" facts about a specific topic.It's a great resource for review before going into the clinics.This won't be a book that just collects dust on your bookshelf.

This is the first book of its kind.It focuses on the dental education of children.It is a complete lesson planner that can be fully integrated in the classroom along with school's other subjects.If children can learn totake care of their teeth the proper way, they can save themselves and theirparents a lot of trouble down the line. Pros and Cons...
I used this book for medical school histology in combination with the Junqueira textbook. I liked this atlas because it is predominantly drawings and so you get to see the "ideal" appearance of things. There are lots of labels on the drawings pointing out the different features of what is being illustrated...this is very helpful and other atlases and textbooks I saw did not do as good a job with this.There is some text as well which is mildly helpful.

Excellent,Integrative, Comprehensive & Current
I am a second year dental student and find this book to be comprehensive in its theoretical approach and practice of preventive dentistry in private and public health sectors. A university level background in chemistry, microbiology,biochemistry and dental materials are necessary to understand some of the more advanced concepts.

My 2 1/2 year old daughter wasn't being cooperative with having her teeth brushed until we got her this book. She loved it from the very beginning and repeatedly asked to read her "animal book". GREAT book!
This book is really useful and handy. It is very well written and easy to read. As the name stated, it provides very practical guides for those who don't have strong background in Statistics but are dealing with longitudinal data. It is written in an example guided format. The outputs from the analysis and guidelines on how to interpret them step by step are included. There is no heavy Statistical notation and you don't need to translate Statistics into English. At the end of the book, there are chapters of how to handle missing data and softwares used in longitudinal data analysis. This book is probably too boring if you are a hardcore Statistician. ...
